Remember your first brush with college life, when every corridor whispered with opportunities? At Bennett University, that feeling came alive again at the German Hanger as the Student Council opened the doors to Club Mela. The annual event served as a gateway for freshmen to explore the diverse clubs and societies on campus, meet their leaders, and discover opportunities to pursue passions beyond academics.

There was a wide spectrum of student-led clubs, each reflecting a unique dimension of campus life. From the rhythm of Advaita – The Music Society, the theatrics of Ansh – The Theatre Society, and the moves of Verve – The Western Dance Society, to the soulful beats of Rivaaz – The Classical Dance Society and the glamour of Panache – The Fashion Society.

Adding variety were clubs like the Anime Club, Astronomy & Space Club, BU Gamers, and Castify – The Podcasting Club, each drawing enthusiastic crowds with interactive games and quirky activities. Cerebrum
Literary and Debating Society
sparked interest in budding orators, while the Comedy Club kept spirits high with light hearted humuor. Other societies like Financo (Finance Club), Food and Cuisine Club, Nomads
(Travel & Adventure Club)
, Pulse (Event Management), Silhouette (Art Club), Zenart (Fitness & Wellness Club), and the Girls’ Health Club added further depth to the vibrant showcase.
Each stall was uniquely decorated and designed to engage freshmen with fun challenges, quick performances, and interactive activities. The event wasn’t just about entertainment it was also the official platform for
the newly appointed club leaders for the tenure 2025–26 to take charge.

They introduced their clubs, outlined their upcoming plans. To make the process seamless, the core registration forms for joining each club were also released, enabling students to formally apply and become members of the societies that matched their interests. “Club Mela is about more than just sign-ups it’s about building a community. Freshmen get to see how diverse Bennett’s culture is and find a place where they belong,” - said a member of the Student Council.
The German Hanger gleamed with bright decorations and echoed with student voices and the vibrancy of Bennett’s co-curricular culture. By the end of the day, the event not only introduced the new batch to the diverse array of societies but also reinforced the idea that college life at Bennett is as much about creativity, expression, and collaboration as it is about academics.

With the curtain falling on Club Mela 2025, the stage is now set for an exciting year ahead, where students will channel their passions through the clubs they’ve joined making memories, honing skills, and shaping the culture of Bennett University.
