Girls Health Club & UWDC hosts 'Farewell Event' at BU

TheGirls Health Club , in collaboration with the University Women Development Cell (UWDC), hosted an event aimed at promoting creativity and emotional well-being. The event took place on April 15th, 2024, starting at 4:00 PM, at the A&B Block and provided an experience for all participants.
The event featured a “Sentence Completion Board” activity, where participants completed sentences and shared their thoughts with others. Another activity, “Let Go and Take Flight”, allowed attendees to reflect on challenges by writing them down and transforming them into paper planes which signifies their frustration. These planes were then released into the sky as a symbolic gesture of letting go and embracing new beginnings.
The "Drink Your Drink Challenge" was also part of the event, offering participants the opportunity to engage in thought-provoking reflections while enjoying a beverage.
The GHC's content head stated," The farewell event was all about saying goodbye to Bennettians in different like juggling the balloons, completing your sentences and noting down your frustration of the year and making a plane out of it symbolizing letting go of the pain you felt and being mentally prepare for the upcoming year."
Attendees were encouraged to express themselves, engage with one another, and grow personally. It gave people the chance to get together and explore their creativity in a supportive environment.
