The spirits of the Bennettians were at an all high even with the heat of the scorching sun above their heads. In his address to the students, the Vice Chancellor said, “this year's SportIkon offers an equal chance and a variety of sports to all, even if you are a seasoned athlete or a first-time performer. Let us celebrate our success and remember the true spirit of sports.”
The address by the Vice Chancellor was followed by the felicitation ceremony of Pardeep Narwal the chief guest of the opening ceremony at Bennett university.
Music and dance society of Bennett University performed to motivational songs to keep the spirits of the students high and set a benchmark for all the students coming from various universities for the sports fest.
This year at SportIkon, Bennett University will be hosting students from more than 30 colleges who will be competing for the Gold medal across 16 sports during the span of the coming four days.
