In a bid to raise awareness about the pressing issue of cyber safety, Bennett University's official Literary and Debating Club, Cerebrum, hosted an electrifying quiz competition called '
With a flurry of questions spanning various themes, the competition kept participants on their toes and showcased the complexity of the cyber world. The quiz featured four rounds that covered a wide range of topics, including search engines, malware that threatens user safety,
Four teams participated in the competition, and the rounds were based on tricky questions about abbreviations, internet browsers, and a set of rounds dedicated to each team. The last round was a rapid-fire round which was particularly exciting.
After a tough battle, Deeksha Bhardwaj emerged as the winner, clinching the coveted first prize of a student hamper and gift voucher worth Rs. 1000. The first and second runners-up, Shreesh Shukla and Devesh Mishra, received student hampers and gift vouchers worth Rs. 700 and Rs. 500, respectively. “I'm thrilled to have won the competition. I googled what the topic was, read a little and came here for the quiz. I registered for the event because I like participating in quizzes, and what also attracted me was the voucher prize of Rs. 1000," said Deeksha.

Kushagra Joshi, Cerebrum secretary, expressed his satisfaction with the turnout and participation, praising the contestants' enthusiasm and knowledge of cybersecurity. He added, "We're thrilled that 'Cyber Certainty' was such a fun and engaging event. We're grateful to all the participants and hope to host more events like this in the future."
The quiz competition was a resounding success, with both the participants and audience thoroughly enjoying the competition and learning about cybersecurity in the process.
