Surprise cultural night leaves BU students enthralled

Bennett University’s Student Council organized a surprise Cultural Night on Tuesday to help students relieve stress post their mid-term exams. The event was a huge success and featured a range of talented performers from various clubs. To increase the energy of the audience, Adhyay, also known as Mr. Chapter, performed a rap on a drill beat, which left the audience charged up. Niharika Lal, a member of Advaita, followed with a solo performance, singing songs like 'All of Me' by John Legend and 'Agar Tum Saath Ho' from the movie Tamasha. This was followed by a powerful performance by Ansh, the drama club's member, Awiral Singh, who performed a monologue of Shahid Kapoor from the movie Haider. Awiral's performance left the crowd in awe.

To smoothen the environment, Mallika Ahluwalia, a member of Advaita, performed another solo musical performance. Following this, Panache, the fashion club, took the stage with a fashion walk. The club members had previously won first prize at a competition in Delhi Technical University. The performance left the audience worked up and energised.
Surprise performance by an Alumni
One of the highlights of the evening was a surprise performance by one of the university's alumni, Anupam Dhonchak, who has been pursuing music professionally for six years. He has returned to the university to teach music to interested students, and his experience was evident in his performance, which left the audience applauding.

Reliving Uphoria
The event was not just about the performances, but also the audience's enthusiasm and support. Jayant Diwaker, a first-year Liberal Arts student, said, "The night was really amazing. Last time we saw something like this was during Uphoria when clubs collaborated for three days and provided us with some of the most amazing nights in the university."
Aditya Sharma, a second-year BTech student, said, "All the performances were amazing, but the performance by Anupam was really great. Such nights are the reason that makes our living in Bennett University more fun and cheerful."
Awiral Singh, who performed the monologue, said, “The crowd was really supportive of each and every act and that happens when they actually enjoy your acts. I just feel blessed that I was able to entertain them and connect with them. I look forward to more such acts.” Awiral is a first-year BA Films and Television student.
