The Times School of Media at Bennett University hosted a two-day orientation program to welcome its new students in style.

Day one of the orientation began with an interaction with the freshers, led by Ms. Pragya Saini, a faculty member at the Times School of Media.

“We are the future media stars,” the students repeated in chorus after Ms. Saini motivated them to believe in themselves and continue exploring their passions.

Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Ratna Singh, the Dean of TSOM, also welcomed the new batch to Bennett University. “I am sure you all have many ideas, hopes, dreams, and aspirations. We feel very honored that you have put your faith and trust in us, and we want to ensure we meet your expectations,” he said.

“There is nothing right or wrong in media; you are all creative people. The goal is to keep doing creative things, and the more you do, the more you’ll learn,” he added.

The Dean assured the students that he, along with the TSOM faculty, would always be there to help and guide them. He also thanked the senior students who volunteered and put in long hours to organize the orientation program, along with the university’s faculty members.

In addition to the Dean’s address, day one of the TSOM orientation included a session on PR insights with Mr. Vineet Handa, CEO of the global PR agency Kaizzen and the chief guest for the day.

The media school’s faculty were introduced to the freshers, who had the opportunity to interact with them for the first time.

The university’s media labs, including the Radio Studio, TV Studio, and Mac Lab, were also shown to the students.
