On the final day of the three-day student-alumni conference hosted by Times School of Media, students got a chance to participate in quite an interesting workshop called, "Creative Writing Chops," at Bennett University. This event was Led by TSOM alumni, Rudra Pratap Singh, Rupanshi Chitransh, and Writava Bannerjee.

The alumni speakers created a friendly and supportive environment by sharing stories and anecdotes. Along with offering writing advice, they also helped the participants grasp the fundamentals of narrative and effective communication in the modern digital age.

But it involved more than simply a pen and paper. The workshop went into the field of copywriting and ad-making. The presenters assisted students in understanding the complex concepts of writing and crafting advertisements that appeal to the emotions of the target audience.

A conference focused on "Creative Writing" was attended by TSOM students.

Participants didn't just learn to craft compelling content, they went deep into understanding people's desires and emotions. Through lively discussions, interactive exercises, and teamwork, they explored how stories can connect brands with people's hearts and create meaningful connections.
The speakers gave a task to the students to create an advertisement, in groups, within 15 minutes and showcase the ad idea in front of the students. A group of five TSOM students enacted an act along with the help of the ‘Power of South Indian Movie’.

"The conference was insightful even for us as we got the opportunity to talk with the alumni and get to know about their work experience, I like the ad-making activity," said Navsheen Kaur, a first-year student at TSOM.

In addition to gaining knowledge regarding creative writing, attendees also felt more inspired and confident as they got to know about their creative goals. The "Creative Writing Chops" workshop was insightful as it was all about practical knowledge.
