Bennett University recently organized Sportikon 3.0, its annual inter-university sports fest, for the third time. The event featured matches for more than sixteen sports, including basketball, football, kabaddi, and tennis, held on the campus grounds.

"There were more than 1,500 participants and over 50 universities that joined Sportikon 3.0, making it the biggest sports extravaganza Bennett has ever hosted," said Shanguli, the head of the student volunteer team at Sportikon.

"New sports like taekwondo, track events, and paddleball were introduced this year, along with exhibition matches for paddleball and pickleball. The highlight of the event for students was the DJ night, while for participants and volunteers, it was the exhibition and football matches," she added.

Day 1 of the fest began with basketball matches between teams from various universities. "Two different basketball teams from our university have come to participate in Sportikon 3.0. We have competed in this sports fest before and have always secured record victories, so we are confident this time as well. We will be staying in Bennett University's hostel accommodations for the duration of Sportikon and are excited to explore the campus," said Yitin Pal, a basketball player from Maharaja Agrasen University.

A Neon DJ Night featuring DJ Moctave was also organized on Friday for the student participants as part of Sportikon 3.0. Indian hockey players Pritam Rani Siwach and Surender Kumar were invited as the chief guests of the event. They inaugurated the sports fest by lighting the ceremonial lamp as part of the grand opening ceremony, which was followed by dance performances by Rivaz, Bennett's classical dance group.
