Men should be allowed to be themselves

A society and aneconomy can flourish to its maximum capacity if there is gender equality .
When all genders are looked at equally,hate crimes against gender get reduced, leading to a safer environment to grow up in. Being a male, you would be able to be carefree and proud as this in turn will benefit one's daughter, sister, mother or even a friend to rise from the orthodox mindset of a bygone era and be treated equally.
When people are treated as equals, they tend to experience a similar reality, making them form a deeper understanding of the other and leading to build-up of mutual respect amongst them.
One's efforts should be recognised in all fields, irrespective of their gender. Males are looked down upon when they are working in specific fields such as a host (airlines). Being a housewife is okay but if a male is staying at home, he is criticized. All these small things matter to those individuals who have to face these problems.
