The Cabinet Valley 1.0 event took place from September 24 to September 26 at Bennett University. Over three dynamic days, students stepped into the shoes of high-stakes decisionmakers to solve complex corporate and strategic challenges. The inaugural edition brought the intense, fast-paced culture of tech leadership directly to the campus, offering participants hands-on experience in leadership, policy drafting, and crisis management.

The whole idea behind it was to give students a dynamic space to step out of the classroom and into the shoes of
real-world founders and investors. Fueling this three-day marathon of strategy and pitches was the event’s proud sponsor, VYRA.

The purpose of this event was not to serve a lecture to students, but to immerse them in an authentic startup ecosystem. Day one kicked off with the ‘Bay Area’, a vibrant student marketplace. The room was
incredibly energetic and collaborative. Students were setting up stalls, showcasing prototypes side-by-side, and the vibe was so inspiring that it felt like anyone could build an empire right then and there.

The sessions featured many intense, interactive challenges. On the 25th, the pressure mounted with the ‘War Room’, a time-bound environment where teams tackled corporate crises and built strategic frameworks
on the fly. This was followed by ‘The Board Room’, where courageous students stepped up to deliver formal pitches—including innovative concepts like a Team-Led Anchor Days workplace policy—to a formidable panel of mock venture capitalists.

“I presented our strategy to the judges, and honestly, standing there defending our idea was nerve-wracking but incredibly empowering,” shared a first-year student who participated in the pitching arena. “It didn’t feel like a college competition at all; it felt like a real corporate boardroom.”

To balance the strategic heavy-lifting with high-energy thrills, the final day introduced ‘Bulls and Bears’. This gripping finance simulation had students managing mock portfolios and reacting to market fluctuations. It brought a lot of cheers, gasps, and competitive spirit, making the whole room incredibly electric.

The organizers then brought the event to a powerful close with an exclusive keynote session by Dr. Deepak Vohra. His insights left the audience deeply motivated, seamlessly leading into a grand rewards ceremony that celebrated the campus’s brightest upcoming strategists

With Cabinet Valley 1.0, Bennett University once again showed that sometimes all we need is a bold idea, a platform, and the courage to take the stage.
