On 7th October, the German Hanger transformed into a celebration of music, lights and elegance as students gathered for the
much-awaited Bridgerton-themed Ball Night brought out a completely different side of the students. The girls were mostly dressed up in gowns and dresses, some perfectly styled and others carrying their own charming, imperfect take on the theme, The boys swapped their everyday college casuals to their best casual formal looks, showing up in shirts, jackets, suits. The heart-shaped backdrop stole the spotlight on stage, adding a romantic touch to the entire night.

For freshers, it was a chance to dress up, spend time with friends and experience the fun side of college life. The evening was
filled with camera flashes, outfit compliments and friends asking for just one more picture before moving on. Everyone seemed to enjoy their first Ball Night on campus. Event hosts set the mood so well that the crowd was in before the first act even began. Then came Verve and Panache. The western dance club was pure high energy, with song choices that had people cheering from their seats and the fashions society Panache arrived with style to spare.

And then DJ Chetna took over. She began with soft and swoony love songs where couples drifted together while friends swayed along, a sweet, slightly melancholic feeling settling over the hall. Then the beat dropped. DJ Chetna had a blast and the floor went wild right with her. People danced like nobody was watching, all the way till the night wound up at 11:30 pm. And that’s the part nobody will forget. Yes, some came with their partners, and had their moment. Many walked in with their friends taking control over the dance floor and laughing together. Anyone without a date had a whole crew right behind them. Midweek or not, Ball night delivered. Everyone left happy, a little tired and probably already scrolling through photos. If you missed it, you will be hearing about it for a while. And if you were there, you already know, you’d go back in a heartbeat.
